We all love a good wedding, but what do we love even more? A bachelorette party to celebrate the bride-to-be. And though Vegas may once have held the title for the ultimate bachelorette experience, there are plenty of other (if not better) travel spots for a girls-only trip to let loose and spoil the guest of honor. Here, we narrowed down to the best bachelorette places party destinations that aren’t in Sin City.

Nashville

Nashville is one of the hottest places to start the pre-nuptial celebrations. It’s not only one of the most vibrant and fun-loving cities for 20-30 somethings, but it offers a great bar-hopping scene on their very own Broadway, so be sure to hit up places that up the honkey-tonk factor like Tootsie’s and Paradise Park, or keep it more mainstream with rooftop bars like The Valentine. But be prepared for some serious country music—hey, you’re in Nashville!

The Hamptons

The East End is not only home to some of the most gorgeous homes on the South Fork of Long Island, NY, but to some of the chicest spots to celebrate bride-to-bes. And while Montauk offers some serious go-to spots, places like Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack or Sunset Beach on Shelter Island have some of the best day drinking spots out East. And though it can get a tad on the pricey side, we suggest opting for an AirBnB or Home Away option that can house the entire bridal party and then some.

New Orleans

NOLA should definitely be on the list of prospective bachelorette destinations. Its French Quarter has some of the best food around (a visit to Café De Monde for their beignets is a must), and its nightlife scene is one-of-a-kind. To make it even better—the city doesn’t enforce no-open-container laws, so your party can go on from Jackson Square to just about anywhere. So whether you’re hitting up the Big Easy for Mardi Gras or catching an air boat ride any time that strikes the group’s fancy, New Orleans is the place to be.

Newport

If quaint and away from city-life is what you’re picturing as your ideal bachelorette scene, look no further than Newport, RI. It’s not only just a short road trip from New York, but is home to some of the most insane mansions ever built, so be sure to check out some home tours, ride a bike through town and drink up at local chic hotspots like Castle Hill Inn and The Mooring.

Aspen

Colorado’s most beautiful spot isn’t just for winter lovers. Take in the gorgeous views on a hike with the girls up to Crater Lake Trail then relax and strip away the day’s elements at one of the city’s luxury spas (Hotel Jerome’s High Alpine Oxygen Life Facial is just the cure). And when the night falls, grab a pint or two at Escobar or The Sky Hotel’s 39 Degrees Lounge for a totally swanky nightcap.

Charleston

Ya’ll, while there are a ton of places the South has to offer for bachelorette groups, nothing beats the southern hospitality (or foodie scene) like Charleston. If your group is into being one with nature, take a stab at fishing and crabbing at the city’s Waterfront Park for some good fun and amazing views of the iconic Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, then dance the night away on King Street (Grill 225’s rooftop is just the place) and go for a trolley ride across town. But be warned, summer is hot and humid in the Lowcountry, so plan on taking the gals in fall or early spring to make the most of the trip. Now—who’s planning?
