Our 3 Favorite Cocktails For Lightweights

by Erin Bunch

If you’re anything like us, it’s been a minute since you’ve been able to chug Jägermeister and live to tell the tale of your misadventures the next day. In fact, we can barely get through a glass of wine nowadays without the beginnings of a headache starting to set in. You’d think this would lead us to reconsider drinking altogether but alas, life is hard and alcohol makes the rough edges a little softer. To solve this conundrum we put together this handy little how-to. Here, three lightweight cocktails that won’t have you calling in sick to work the next day.

Aperol Spritz Combine 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol and a splash of soda in a glass. Garnish with mint.

Pimm’s Cup Combine sliced cucumber, sliced lemon, sliced apple and sliced strawberries in a glass. Add ice. Then, add 2 ounces of Pimm’s and top with sparkling lemonade. Stir gently and garnish with mint.

Rosé Sangria In a pitcher, combine one orange, halved and sliced, one green apple, sliced, one pint of fresh strawberries, a bottle of rosé, and agave syrup to taste. Chill for 30 minutes. Then, serve over ice, top with soda and garnish with mint.
