Bella Hadid’s By Far Bag Is Your New Year-Round Staple
This model has been going through some major bag phases lately. First, it was a panda-clad pouch that she carried everywhere for an entire month. Now, Bella Hadid is carrying a new By Far bag and it looks like she's about to go on another streak.
Hadid doesn't always carry a handbag, but when she does, she wears the same one over and over again. Take that Louis Vuitton panda pochette, for instance — the one she packed from New York City to Italy, then to Disneyland earlier this month.
Now, she's swapped it out for a new obsession: By Far's Amber bag. Hadid debuted the black-and-white printed shoulder bag after returning from her West Coast girls’ trip on July 11. She paired it with a basic long-sleeve tee, oversized Re/Done jeans, and royal-blue slip-on mules.
Two days later, the model was spotted leaving Pier59 Studios with another By Far bag — the Rachel — similar to the last but in all black. The small carryall slung over her shoulder suited her sporty theme (a yellow leotard and bike shorts) impeccably.
Needless to say, you can expect to see a lot more of these it-bags when the Fall/Winter collection launches in August.
Unlike the Rachel, which has a rectangular baguette silhouette, the Amber is more of a slouchy croissant shape. Big enough just to slip over a shoulder, the accessory is on the small side, which is just what Hadid likes.
When it comes to handbags, the model is partial to styles that look like they time traveled from the '90s: Dior's saddle bag, a nylon and leather shoulder bag by Prada, Michael Kors' extra-small Cece crossbody, and more.
The Rachel is a modern take on an old-school staple and one that deserves a spot in your 2019 lineup immediately (or, rather, when it launches for $715 next month). Until then, get your fix with these Hadid-approved croissant bags, ahead.
