Bella Hadid Tried Out Bangs — & Could Convince You To Do The Same
Jet-black bob, platinum blonde strands, super-long mermaid waves — having trouble keeping up with the hair transformations of one Bella Hadid? Because yeah, same. The modern-day supermodel makes changes to her mane almost as frequently as the swaps her outfits, which is to say, a lot. Now, Bella Hadid's choppy bangs are the latest switch up for the hair chameleon — but it's anyone's guess how long they'll last.
The style savvy model wouldn't dream of attending a Dior show without an on-point beauty look; after all she is one of the faces of Dior's luxe makeup range. So naturally, she sported a fresh style when stepping out in Paris to attend the Dior Men's fashion presentation on Jan. 17 as part of her whirlwind Men's Fashion Week itinerary. (Did you see the snakeskin pants she wore the other day?)
This time around, Hadid opted to try out a full, face-framing fringe with choppy layers to add an undeniable French-girl flair to her fashion show ensemble — which was in sharp contrast to the look she wore to the Louis Vuitton Men's show on Jan. 16, that showed off her natural jaw-length layers.
Considering that the bold bang look happened practically on the fly (Hadid walked in Berluti's show earlier in the day, noticeably without the fringe), it's entirely plausible that the look is courtesy of some clever clip-in work. And Bella's no stranger to sudden transformations; in December 2019 she traded in her short hair for waist-length waves to attend another Dior appearance in Miami. The life of a Hadid, right?
Though the style may be impermanent for the model, it's still great inspiration for girls with bangs or those who've been considering the choppy look. Their fullness brings polish (plus Parisian flair), and makes them a bit easier to style than wispy iterations — just have a barrel brush or compact straightener on hand to curl them slightly under and in the same direction like Hadid's.
Fringe fans, be sure you've got these styling essentials in your arsenal if you want to replicate Hadid's fashion show hair.
