Blake Lively’s Go-To Sunscreen Is A $15 Drugstore Find
With the highly anticipated onset of warmer temps, a near-complete beauty product overhaul is pretty much required. You're going to want a lightweight foundation, a bright lip color, and a glowy complexion come spring, but most of all, you need a good sunscreen. Thankfully, Blake Lively just dished on her skincare routine and it includes a $15 drugstore find everyone should be wearing this season.
The actor has been an authority on both fashion and beauty since her Serena van der Woodsen days (which was — brace yourself — a whole decade ago). She's probably been probed on her morning routine a thousand times, but she shared what's on her vanity voluntarily just recently.
Lively posted a series of Instagram stories highlighting her favorite products, tagging the brands to make it even more convenient for you. The Gossip Girl actor must have been on a spring-cleaning spree, writing "when you organize once, then gotta share with the world" on the initial story.
To no one's surprise, the red-carpet regular uses a slew of designer items (including a vast collection of Charlotte Tilbury and Christian Louboutin lipsticks) for her more glamorous days, but there were an impressive number of affordable drugstore beauty products in the mix as well.
Examining Lively's jam-packed cosmetics drawer is like treasure hunting for the beauty-obsessed. There, between the Chanel and Armani, you'll find a classic Burt's Bee lip balm. And in the opposite corner, just below the Essie nail polish, is a CeraVe sunscreen you can pick up for only $15.
No matter how much you love the sun, you're definitely going to need proper UV protection this spring — any celebrity (or dermatologist) would agree. Make it this SPF 50 mineral sunscreen. The oil-free formula is lightweight enough to go under your makeup, leaving you with a non-greasy, invisible finish.
If Lively is a fan, it's probably safe to say you will be, too. Her go-to sunscreen and other beauty products the actor keeps in stock, ahead.
