Cindy Crawford Brought The Best Leather Jacket To Paris Fashion Week
The first days of fall mean one thing: It's time to push those lightweight dresses, cut-off shorts, and strappy sandals back to the unknown depths of your closet in order to make room for the latest and greatest cold-weather trends. Chillier weather calls for lots of layering, a fall-dressing tactic that allows plenty of room for experimentation, while also giving you the option of sticking to your tried-and-true basics. Cindy Crawford's Acne leather jacket is a necessary staple for all your fall looks, both daring and subtle alike.
The iconic supermodel was photographed out and about in Paris on Tues. wearing the simple, timeless ensemble you wish you'd thought of. Crawford was seen on the first day of Paris Fashion Week with her daughter Kaia Gerber, one of the year's most up-and-coming models (Gerber's already walked a handful of shows this fashion month). The mother-daughter model duo exemplified off-duty style while looking effortlessly elevated.
Crawford wore her usual uniform: a black-leather biker jacket (this time, by Acne Studios) paired with a striped, long-sleeve top. Her ankle-grazing skinny jeans looked perfect with black booties, oversized sunglasses, and a black clutch. The model topped off the look with copper-toned waves and warm, glowing makeup.
Although her daughter will be the one walking Paris Fashion Week, the 52-year-old runway idol is still very much in the modeling game. Crawford is an integral part of Acne Studios' Fall/Winter campaign, which launched Tues. morning. Besides proudly wearing her classic, biker jacket while out and about in Paris, Crawford lended her modeling talent to the retro-inspired campaign, which featured reissued versions of Acne Studios’ first jeans (shot by '70s photographer Sam Abell).
Crawford's exact jacket doesn't come cheap, but it very well may be the fall splurge you've been searching for. That said, there's no shortage of motto jackets on the market this season — and they come in just about every price point you could imagine.
