Cindy Crawford Found An Elevated Way To Stay Warm This Season
As we reach peak winter weather, pieces that are just as warm as they are stylish become the most important part of any wardrobe. And while you may wish you could roll out of bed and head to the office wearing your fleece pajama bottoms or leave the house wrapped in your coziest blanket, that's usually not a viable option. Instead, turn to Cindy Crawford's shearling coat for a look that effortlessly blends warmth and elegance with just a touch of edge.
The iconic supermodel was photographed while out in New York City on Tues. wearing the ultimate layered look. Crawford sported the Panelled Shearling Jacket by Acne Studios, an oversized statement coat featuring a leather exterior, fur lining, and contrasting brown trim. Staying true to her outfit's off-duty vibe, Crawford wore the jacket over an easy denim-on-denim pairing (see: chambray button-down and flared jeans).
To top it all off, Crawford added black booties with a soft square toe and a pair of brown-toned structured sunglasses. Crawford wore her famous caramel-colored hair in an undone blowout with a loosely placed side part. The eye-catching style of her unique coat worked to dress up an otherwise relaxed ensemble. As the model proves, adding leather, faux fur, or shearling is a great way to elevate your favorite denim pieces.
It comes as no surprise that Crawford turned to Acne Studios for her street-style needs, as she collaborated with the brand for its fall campaign earlier this year. The 52-year-old posed in yet another shearling coat at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas for a vintage-inspired photoshoot. She even donned an updated version of the first ever jeans designed by the label for the campaign.
A fashion authority like herself, and mother to rising-star Kaia Gerber, knows how important it is to look polished while staying warm in the winter. A shearling coat with a bulky shape helps to insulate your temperature while simultaneously taking charge of a super-simple outfit combination. If an all-jean look isn't quite your taste, try throwing a shearling moto jacket on top of a black turtleneck and leggings, a midi- dress and tights, or even your most comfortable joggers.
