The Suspiria actor arrived at the film's Hollywood premiere wearing an accessory that will no doubt bring you back to your childhood. But as nostalgic as they were, Dakota Johnson's heart-shaped earrings were anything but juvenile. In fact, they're so elegant that you may want to sport the throwback trend yourself.

On Wed., Chloe Grace Moretz, Mia Goth, and Johnson came together on the red carpet to celebrate their latest thriller film. Johnson, who plays the lead role, arrived in a bright-red sequined Celine dress (and with her sweet grandmother on her arm). The dress — hot off the runway of Paris Fashion Week — was the brand's first red carpet appearance since being taken over by Heidi Slimane. The glossy '70s-inspired frock features a plunging neckline and billowing puffy sleeves. The actor wore her hair in a casual, soft waves pulled behind her ears to show off her stunning silver drop earrings.

Sophie Buhai's Love Earrings were the perfect pick for Johnson's fire-red dress, and a rather bold one, too. Heart-shaped jewelry is often times deemed tacky, especially when it comes to formal events, but these playful accessories meshed sophistication and nostalgia seamlessly. Needless to say, these aren't the earrings your boyfriend gifted you on Valentine's Day in the seventh grade.

The Los Angeles-based jewelry brand is renowned for its solid silver styles in sculptural silhouettes, all made from recycled materials to reduce its carbon footprint. Other retro pieces from the label include a seashell necklace and dangling cherry earrings. In addition to Johnson, Maggie Gyllenhaal has worn a pair of Sophie Buhai's long pearl-drop earrings on the red carpet, too.

It's no secret that styles from decades past have made a comeback — scrunchies, crop tops, overalls, and more — and fun-shaped accessories have officially joined the ranks. On Valentine's Day, Blake Lively wore a heart-shaped diamond ring to Michael Kors' New York Fashion Week presentation. And more recently, Meghan Markle wore a pair of vintage butterfly earrings that once belonged to the late Princess Diana. Even the Duchess of Sussex says shapes are in.
