In this age of athleisure, dressing comfortably is cool. Running errands in the coziest ensemble you can muster often means making a statement at the same time, and sporty footwear is the key to every fashion girl's off-duty style. If you, too, are constantly adding to your tennis shoe lineup, look no further than Dakota Johnson's sneakers to fuel your obsession.

The actor squeezed in a little Beverly Hills retail therapy before heading out to Fairhope, Alabama, to start filming a new movie, The Friend, in Feb. On Thurs., she was photographed with a Barneys New York bag in-hand and the outfit she sported was super cozy, per usual.

In addition to the thick, heather brown sweater and cropped black jeans she wore, the 29-year-old accessorized with a white Proenza Schouler courier backpack and Saint Laurent sunglasses. The star of the ensemble, though, was her colorful footwear.

Johnson laced up a pair of chunky sneakers by Golden Goose for her shopping trip. They're white with a metallic weave and feature black, baby-blue, and neon-yellow panels — the ultimate throwback to '80s styles. The $500 sneakers are designed with a bright-red sole and striped laces, lending even more charisma to the bold shoe.

Tennis shoes are trendier than ever. The "ugly" sneaker made a comeback in 2017 and trendsetters like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Hailey Bieber were quick to hop aboard. The thick-soled sneaker continued to evolve in 2018 with neon colors, Velcro straps, and high-top silhouettes.

Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, and Stella McCartney, among others, have showcased a diverse array of tennis shoes on the Spring 2019 runways. And Johnson's is the latest version of streetwear sneakers.

The Fifty Shades of Grey actor is quite the sneakerhead, in fact, recently wearing patent platform tennis shoes by Prada, the sportiest Under Armour gym shoes, and multi-toned Gucci sneaks, too.

Snag a pair of Johnson's latest or something similar to go with all your weekend looks, ahead.
