Emily Ratajkowski Swapped Her Winter Coat For This Cozy Bomber
Long wool coats seem to be all the rage lately, but sometimes sophisticated outerwear just doesn't look right with a low-key jeans-and-tee combo. Cropped puffers and boxy coats, rather, are the key to all your lazy weekend looks. Emily Ratajkowski's black bomber is the warmest layer for those cozy-casual days.
The model bundled up for her outing in SoHo on Tues., when she was photographed with latté in-hand wearing a winter version of her classic off-duty look. It's no secret that this trendsetter loves a pair of high-waisted mom jeans, and this time, she tucked them into bright-red socks poking out from chunky work boots.
To keep warm, the 27-year-old opted for a sleek black faux-fur bomber by I.AM.GIA. Featuring a metallic elastic waistband, the super-warm number has bell sleeves and a thick hood. Zipping up the front, the swimwear designer's chic jacket is basically an elevated version of that sweatshirt you wear constantly around the house.
EmRata completed the look with a gray beanie, a chain link crossbody bag, rectangular retro sunnies, and trendy hoop earrings, once again nailing her always-impeccable street style. And luckily, you don't have to be a model to sport this trend.
Get The Look
Crop tops made a comeback a while ago, and now the short-and-boxy trend has worked its way into winter coats. Kendall and Kylie Jenner even designed a similar cropped fur bomber that's included in their new vegan-friendly jacket line for Macy's. Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber have been trading in their long coats for cropped puffers, too.
So, the next time you feel like showing off your favorite high-waisted jeans, pair it with a cropped jacket like Ratajkowski's. Choose from The Zoe Report's favorite coats, ahead.
