This Under-$100 Dress Is Emma Roberts-Approved & SO Easy To Wear
Spring has sprung, which means botanical motifs of all kind have started to blossom. Though a no-brainer pattern this time of year, florals certainly aren't everyone's cup of tea. So with that, it's time to look toward Emma Roberts' polka-dot dress — an easygoing frock that's just as fun and fresh as flowers.
On April 7, Roberts was photographed strolling the streets of sunny L.A. after stopping by West Hollywood hair boutique, Nine Zero One. Though it's unclear whether she freshened up her color or got a trim (her hair was pulled back into a ponytail post salon visit), one thing is for sure: She looked the epitome of retro-chic in a Reformation polka-dot dress.
Roberts' $98 dress, which is actually still available to shop right now, is equal parts fun and classic. Its relaxed silhouette keeps it feeling carefree, while a yellow polka-dot print adds a charming, vintage-inspired touch. Other noteworthy design details include the crew neckline, short sleeves, and a side slit.
Roberts has long mastered the art of pattern mixing — but for her Sun., outing, she took a slightly different (albeit equally eye-catching) route when combining prints. Rather than pairing polka dots with stripes, for example, she chose to double up on dots. Yep, the 28-year-old styled her dress with sheer tights that were also sprinkled with polka dots — and you'll want to follow her lead right away.
Roberts upped the edge with a pair of platform, lace-up boots from French footwear label, Robert Clergerie. Cat-eye sunglasses, a dainty gold necklace, and a small circle bag by L.A.-based brand, Clare V., rounded out her Sat. uniform.
Florals just not your thing? No problem. Roberts' latest outfit effortlessly proves the power of polka dots. Just as fun, but slightly less kitschy than florals, spots of all kind are sure to continue to make their mark this season (and beyond).
