Gabrielle Union Proves You Shouldn’t Retire Your Summer Jeans Just Yet
Although you're probably used to tucking away your summer clothes the very second that fall hits, Gabrielle Union's white pants will convince you to pause. Sure, white jeans are the definition of a breezy, summer afternoon, but the actor's latest look makes a strong case for transitioning them into cold-weather season. Yup, no white after Labor Day may be a rule worth breaking.
The actor was photographed in Los Angeles on Oct. 10 dressed in white, wide-leg trousers. Union, along with other celebrities like Miranda Kerr, Amber Heard, and Anna Kendrick, attended Porter magazine's "Incredible Women" Gala. Proceeds from the event benefitted Vital Voices, an organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting women in leadership roles.
Union's pants (which are custom-made by Isa) popped against her black double-buckle belt, proving crisp, white denim pairs perfectly with dark-wash separates. The 45-year-old paired the bottoms with a silky, button-down blouse and a wool Ferragamo trench coat for a fall-appropriate ensemble.
Union added lace-up leather boots by Frye and topped off the look with a By Far handle bag with olive-green embossing. As for hair and makeup, Union kept it things super minimal. She tucked her short, wavy bob behind her ears and opted for dewy, glowing skin.
