From jazzy tie-dye and classic plaid to bold, fierce animal motifs, there's a lot to pick and choose from in the print world this season. And while one-toned looks are proving to be quite popular among the celeb set, patterns of all sort continue to make a splash on the East and West Coast street-style scene. But, just when you thought you were up to speed on all of 2019's biggest print trends (leopard, zebra, checks, florals, just to name a few), Gigi Hadid's ombré suit acts as a, well, fashion curveball, having just thrown an unexpected new pattern craze into the mix.

Hadid is no stranger to making a splash while out and about on her usual daytime duties — and she even served up an easy-to-copy lesson on how to make a sweatsuit look chic (yes, chic). That said, it should come as no surprise that the 24-year-old model is oftentimes among the first to sport a new It item — or in this case, a new It print. Enter, ombré, a slightly more elevated version of the tie-dye motif that's earned a lot of chatter in the fashion world this year.

On Oct. 19, Hadid was photographed in New York's NoHo area — and while it's unclear what was on her calendar for the day, based on her business-casual outfit, it likely included some fashion-centric meetings.

So, now's the time to break down's Hadid's latest off-duty look. First, it's important to mention that it hits on fall's suiting trend. The model's three-piece set, from Oscar de la Renta's Resort 2020 collection, features silky, wide-leg pants, a button-down, and an oversized blazer. All in all, the model's combo is a playful approach to the tailored suiting, and that's because of its dip-dyed print (aka, white and blue ombré) that's prevalent throughout.

The finishing touches? A pair of white Fendi cowboy boots that added a dose of Western flair, blue-tinted sunnies that further played off the azure color scheme, and a so-tiny-you-might-miss-it handbag that, wait for it, also featured an ombré pattern (talk about a well coordinated outfit, Hadid!).

If the tie-dye print is a bit outside your wheelhouse, try out a subtler ombré option, instead. Ahead, The Zoe Report's favorite fall-perfect pieces with tonal shifts sure to make a statement.
