Givenchy Celebrates Its New E-Commerce Platform With An Exclusive Capsule Collection
If you haven't already heard, Givenchy's new E-commerce platform has finally arrived in the U.S., and from the looks of it, the newly-launched site is going to make fall shopping and holiday gift giving that much easier. The expansion of the luxury design house's online store allows the U.S. customer to take a deeper dive into the world of Givenchy while also shopping the brand's high-fashion styles from the comfort of their own home. Not to mention, there's an exclusive capsule collection to honor the launch that you'll want to scope out ASAP.
Initially unveiled in France to coincide with Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller’s first Givenchy show in 2017, the multi-faceted digital platform is now offered in seven countries — with its latest launch being the U.S. market. So, what does this mean for you? Well, for one, it gives you the opportunity to invest in the pieces you've been lusting after with just a few scrolls and clicks, while it also provides you with even more access to the design house's content.
From in-depth feature stories and real-time access to fashion shows to online-first reveals and exclusive product drops, the online destination brings together E-commerce, social media, and a personalized shopping experience. So, after you click through images of the latest Spring/Summer 2020 show you can then shop Fall/Winter 2019, learn about specific standout styles (like the highly-coveted Eden bag), and see how celebrities have worn pieces from the collection on the red carpet.
Additionally, the digital platform also allows customers to check stock availability across the brand’s stores nation wide, select from several delivery options, and make in-store appointments to try on pieces in-person. On top of that, for customers in New York City there's a white-glove concierge service also available.
To celebrate the launch of E-commerce in the U.S., Clare Waight Keller designed an equally as cool capsule collection that brings together signature Givenchy details with all-American varsity pieces. The limited-edition, online exclusive styles include a '50s-inspired hooded sweatshirt, $1,190, and two oversized, printed T-shirts (both $650) that feature '52 — the year Hubert de Givenchy launched the fashion house.
Continue on to see and shop the capsule pieces below, and head over to the online store to snag Givenchy styles from your wishlist.
