How To Wear A White Suit The Kourtney Kardashian Way

If 2019 fashion has proven anything for sure, it's that women wear the pants and the "no white after Labor Day" rule is officially dead. On Tues., the color-coordinated ladies of Congress turned the seats at the State of the Union into a sea of white, demonstrating the chic power of a crisp white blazer. The trend is clearly still going strong, because Kourtney Kardashian just perfectly demonstrated how to wear a white suit while out in New York City.

The eldest Kardashian sister stepped out on Thurs. afternoon looking downright chic in the commanding number. Donning a plunging white blazer and matching pants, the mother of three brought the look home with pointed-toe stilettos and a slicked low bun.

A far cry from her ultra-high pony and floor-length black gown at the amfAR Gala the previous evening, Kardashian was clearly in the mood to cross over to the light side after the swanky event. The same night, Tom Ford kicked off New York Fashion Week, sending models down the runway in an unreal lineup of suits galore. Perhaps Kardashian was inspired to give the menswear-inspired trend a whirl.

Kardashian isn't the only celebrity to serve a suited moment lately. Everyone from Luptia Nyong'o to Tracee Ellis Ross has nailed the powerful look, proving it's just as chic with sneakers as it is with strappy sandals.

For the next big event on your calendar, why not switch things up and go the suited route? In a room of cocktail dresses and gowns, you'll no doubt make an impact in a bold number like Kardashian's. And if Ross and Nyong'o aren't ample proof that the look works in so many ways, allow The Zoe Report's roundup of white suits to do just that.
