Lopez arrived hand in hand with Rodriguez and likely left guests speechless with her extra-glamorous birthday outfit that sparkled with each flashing camera light. The music icon is known for her daring style choices, especially when it comes to black-tie events, and the July 24th bash was certainly no different. Weds. evening offered up yet another awe-striking look to add to J. Lo's history-making outfit archives (move aside green Grammy dress).

The lady of the hours (aka, Lopez) was a glittery goddess in a custom Versace gown. The floor-length dress made its debut as part of the Italian fashion house's Fall 2019 collection (originally in black), but was re-designed in a luxe metallic gold just for the songstress' 50th birthday celebration. With an extra-high side-slit, cutout detailing along the midriff, a bustier top, and all-over buckle detailing, it was utterly daring, but in the chicest way possible.

A half ponytail with pin straight hair put her extra-large hoop earrings on fully display, while the side slit perfectly showed off her gold platform heels.

Us Weekly reports Lopez's bash was held at Gloria Estefan’s estate on Star Island in Miami and was all done at the hands of Rodriguez (maybe he'll consider party planner as his next career move?). DJ Cassidy — who also DJ'd Lopez's 40th birthday — entertained guests with a mix of classic rap, Latin music, and R&B tunes, while DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, and Ashanti all gave impromptu performances.

But the sweetest surprise of the night came when J. Lo's 11-year-old daughter, Emme, sang “Mahogany” by Diana Ross. Oh, and that $140,000 Porsche Rodriguez gave his fiancée wasn't too bad either.
