After retreating to Kensington Palace with little Prince Louis for five months, the Duchess of Cambridge is coming back in style. On her first official day back from maternity leave, the royal visited Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden dressed in an earth-toned, outdoorsy ensemble. Go ahead and fall in love with Kate Middleton's green jacket, because it's only $200.

The West London activity center that Middleton visited Tues. aims to educate children and the local community on the environment. During her appearance, Middleton spent some time with local educators and school children to vouch for the positive effects of nature on mental health. She dressed the part, too.

The Duchess wore a classic gray sweater over a collared, polka-dot print button-up blouse by Joseph that she's worn out before. She paired it with simple brown skinny jeans and the same boots she's been wearing for 14 years — the Long Tassel Boot by Penelope Chilvers (they're tall, elegant and go with anything). Middleton's new jacket, though, was the star of the outfit.

Middleton loves a wool trench, but this time she kept warm with a casual, olive-green hooded coat. This $200 gem by Swedish outerwear brand Fjällräven is the perfect, ultra-comfortable everyday jacket for your fall and winter needs. Better yet, it comes in five fall-ready colors in addition to Middleton's green: black, burgundy, gray, and navy. The bestselling Stina Jacket features the brand's durable G-1000 Lite fabric, a combination of moveable polyester and cotton.

The jacket's technical specs make it sturdy against the elements, but Middleton's outfit proves it's super stylish, too. The jacket has pre-shaped sleeves and a tailored-but-not-too-polished fit.

Since the birth of her third child with Prince William in April, Middleton has taken a step back from her public engagements. She did, however, attend baby Louis' christening over the summer in a white, puffy-sleeve Alexander McQueen dress, proving once again that Middleton is the epitome of class.

When the royal isn't wearing her signature dress and wool-coat combo, Middleton often sports simple skinny jeans paired with a tailored sweater, tall boots, a vest, or other ultra-casual outerwear. The Duchess of Cambridge's style is far more traditional than Meghan Markle's. Since becoming a member of the royal family in May, Markle has taken a handful of fashion risks (including blazer dresses, pantsuits, and more).

This isn't the first time the Duchess has opted for an earth-toned ensemble — in fact, she usually gravitates towards this color palette for her outdoor events. Middleton wore a similar outfit when she and Prince William went for a three-hour hike in Bhutan: olive green skinnies tucked into her go-to Penelope Chilvers boots, with a casual green vest layered over a white long-sleeved t-shirt.

This fall, channel Middleton's earth-inspired look by snagging her affordable Fjällräven jacket yourself. The casual Stina Jacket pairs well over thick knits tucked into your favorite colored corduroy pants. Throw the versatile item over your go-to sweater dress or just about any casual outfit you wear this fall, winter, and beyond.
