The actor was just honored for her services to drama and charity at Buckingham Palace, and she sported the classiest, vintage-inspired ensemble. The British Love Actually actor posed on the palace steps with a metal on Thurs. after collecting her OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) from Prince Charles. She brought her husband, James Righton, and parents along for the special day, which called, of course, for Chanel couture.
A jewelry ambassador for the high-fashion French brand since 2016, Knightley opted for Chanel's iconic tweed skirt suit — this one, from the Spring/Summer 2017 couture collection. Wearing it exactly like the runway model, the 33-year-old sported a white button-up blouse with a colonel ribbon bowtie under the yellow woven jacket, cinched at the waist with a pastel-pink belt. Her matching pencil skirt hit just below the knee, meeting royal protocol.
