Keira Knightley Just Revealed Her Second Pregnancy In A Stunning Chanel Dress
Two pregnancy announcements in one day is almost too much to take. Within 24 hours of Blake Lively debuting her bump at a New York film premiere, Keira Knightley also announced she's pregnant in pretty much the same way. The Love Actually actor paraded her growing belly in the chicest Chanel dress while out in Paris on Thurs.
Meghan Markle is slated to give birth to the newest royal any day, and now Lively and Knightley have both confirmed they'll be expecting new additions this year, too. Hollywood is in the midst of a major baby boom.
The British actor broke the news in the most casual way possible: by just leaving the house (that's all a celebrity has to do these days, anyway). She and husband James Righton attended Chanel's J12 cocktail party in Paris, debuting her baby bump in the process.
Knightley's last public appearance was another Chanel event, the opening of the Shanghai's Mademoiselle Privé exhibition in April, where she sported a super loose and flowy floral gown — the perfect disguise.
Rather than hide it, her outfit showcased her pregnant belly this time. The dress she chose for the big reveal was an angelic, cream-colored gown with a wide-neck silhouette and Chanel's signature tweed bodice.
She sported yet another Chanel design on Fri. while sitting front row at the designer's Resort 2020 show. The whimsical black maxi, featuring puffy chiffon sleeves and allover white flowers, was so symbolic, seeing as it was almost a spitting image of the black-and-white, flowery Erdem dress she wore immediately after announcing her first pregnancy in 2015.
Her looks from the past couple days are the epitome of this actor's ethereal maternity style. And there's not a more fitting designer to dress her during these momentous days than the brand who she's been involved with for years.
This will be the Chanel ambassador's second child with her Klaxons musician husband. Their first — three-year-old daughter Edie, born two years after the couple married — was announced via publicist, a much more formal approach than her 2019 reveal.
In an interview Knightley did with Ellen DeGeneres the last time she was pregnant, the actor said having a boy would be "terrifying." There's no confirmation yet on the sex of the baby, but perhaps she'll find out whether her theory is right this time around.
For now, you can rely on this expectant mom to be bringing the Chanel maternity looks until that baby comes.
