Kendall Jenner’s Half-Up Hairstyle Is About To Be Your New Go-To On Busy Days
Almost every girl in the world is going into summer with a fresh new bob. Lucky for the scissor shy, Kendall Jenner's half-up hairstyle is proof that you can switch up your look without getting a major chop. Perhaps that salon appointment can wait a little while longer, after all.
Since arriving in New York nearly a week ago, this model has had a jam-packed schedule, speaking at Proactiv events by day and sampling the city's beignet market by night. Earlier in the week, her jaunt to a corner shop for a Coke sparked suspicion that she was paid to promote the soda brand, seeing as the can coordinated perfectly with her tangerine dress.
In any case, she's been so busy — even sometimes facilitating wardrobe changes partway through the day — that her hairstylist, Jen Atkin, has resorted to on-the-go quick fixes to freshen up Jenner's look.
On Thurs., for instance, the half-down style she sported early in the day was transformed into a slicked-back bun by the end of the night. Then, Fri., she debuted a brand-new one for your repertoire.
Jenner's asymmetric half-up twist is refreshing enough to make you fall back in love with your long hair (so go ahead and put that seasonal cut on hold for a bit).
On this particular outing, the model sported a black-and-white, oversized Adidas jacket with the boldest red-and-gray paneled snake-print pants. Her hair was straight and natural-looking (perhaps even day-old), parted in the middle and left down. On one side, however, Jenner's bangs were pulled back into a tidy, low-key twist secured in the back.
