Kendall Jenner Just Channeled Kourtney Kardashian In A ‘90s-Inspired Trench
It's no secret that Kendall Jenner has a thing for '90s style. The model rocks even the quirkiest of trends from 30 years ago (read: hair clips and super-thin sunnies), having donned everything from spaghetti tank tops to chunky sneakers on repeat. Now, Kendall Jenner is playing favorites with a leather trench for the ultimate, retro-inspired look. Jenner touched down in London on Mon. evening to attend the 2018 British Fashion Awards. After walking the red carpet in a super-daring, gold mesh dress by Julien Macdonald, she headed out to the after party at The Scotch of St. James, but not before swapping her glamorous, glitzy gown for a trend-forward yet casual-cool outfit. It's a cold-weather ensemble that you will no doubt want to emulate immediately — and luckily, it's still in stock.
The 23-year-old's after-party look consisted of a pair of light-wash, high-waisted mom jeans — a denim style Jenner frequents. She paired the casual bottoms with a crescent-moon print, high neck top by Marine Serre that instantly elevated the look. The one piece that pulled everything together and added that coveted '90s flair without much effort? Jenner's longline leather trench coat by Frame, which features a button-front closure, a belted waist (which the model chose to forego), and side-welt pockets.
Jenner rounded out her look with gold, oversized earrings and a pair of Western-inspired Celine ankle booties — a shoe trend that's definitely become her signature, as well. She wore her hair pulled back, and she rocked the perfect no-makeup makeup look.
Time and time again, Jenner has demonstrated that when she finds something she really loves, she's certainly not against donning it more than once. Such has been the case with her buttery, black leather coat, which she's sported on countless outings. Prior to Mon.'s sighting, Jenner was seen wearing it to a basketball game on Dec. 1 (yes, it's court side-friendly, too).
And as it turns out, though, the 23-year-old isn't the only one in the Kardashian-Jenner family who has a thing for the Matrix-inspired piece. Older sister Kourtney Kardashian loves the edgy top layer, too, frequenting a brown, longline leather trench coat by Theory.
