Kendall Jenner Infused Her Airport Style With 2019’s Biggest Color Trend
There's a new color trend in town and it's the one you were least expecting. Kendall Jenner gave neon green her stamp of approval as she arrived in France for the Cannes Film Festival on Weds. Let the model's latest in-flight outfit be a lesson in bold travel fashion for your next trip.
Priyanka Chopra, Bella Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, and the rest of the it-crew has been giving the French Riviera all they've got over the past week. The only person missing from the Cannes red carpet has been the one and only Kendall Jenner, but not for long.
The fashion world's coveted supermodel is officially on her way and she's bringing the looks before she even makes her festival debut. Hot off the plane, Jenner arrived in France wearing slime-green co-ords.
Her vibrant set is by Casablanca, a French-Moroccan menswear brand. An inverted version of the outfit debuted on a male model during the label's Fall 2019 fashion show. Jenner's two piece features a neon denim jacket decorated with oranges and corresponding straight-leg pants in a different print, but same fruity motif.
She posted a video on her Instagram Story of her jumping on a bed in the playful pants pre-flight.
It's not the first neon-green look to make headlines in Cannes. Indian actor Deepika Padukone already stopped the show with a downright enormous tulle ballgown by Giambattista Valli in the same color.
The bright hue is having a major moment and Jenner has been on board since she wore that head-to-toe neon look (eyeshadow and everything) on New Year's Eve. Everyone from Bella Hadid to Rihanna has since followed her lead. Spring/Summer 2019 collections — Piscavera, Jeremy Scott, Emporio Armani, and so many others — are chock-full of upbeat slime pieces, so you'd better get used to seeing it around.
