And it keeps working long after application, thanks to an infusion of konjac root, a natural ingredient that acts as a protective barrier to keep the hyaluronic acid in place on your pout (and gives the balm its gel-like texture).
A variety of other nature-derived additives round out the good-for-you gel-balm, like vitamin E that plumps, repairs, and smooths lips, and wild mint that gives the product an energizing aroma. You'll also find a host of nourishing oils on the ingredient list, including super-softening jojoba oil, avocado oil, cacao seed butter, and grape seed oil — all of which add to the hydrating formula's long-lasting lip-repairing abilities.
And because it's good to have options, Kosas' first Kosasport product comes in three different shades, so you should never be at a loss for the ideal lip color. Baseline, a universal clear shade, is your go-to balm for any time of day, and could easily be layered under lipsticks post-workout to make sure your pout stays soft. The other two shades, warm-tan Pulse and cool-pink Rush, offer a sheer wash of pigment when you want the conditioning qualities of a balm but the punchiness of Kosas' pretty, impactful lip colors.
