This Luxe Swimwear Trend Is Officially Martha Hunt-Approved
It's nearly impossible to scroll through Instagram these days without a wanderlust-inducing photo appearing on your feed — is anyone else dying to book a getaway ASAP? Model and former Miss USA, Olivia Culpo, has been taking to the 'gram whilst vacationing in Mexico with Revolve, sharing one bikini-clad snap after the other. And while her swimwear lineup for her latest vacation was all about bright neon shades, another runway superstar just made a case for an entirely new waterside trend. Enter, Martha Hunt and her luxe metallic gold bikini.
Hunt's took to her Instagram on July 21 to share a photo that was taken in Harbour Island, Bahamas — a location of lush greens and clear turquoise water. The model is currently there enjoying some much-needed R&R and seems to be taking a break from work, as evident by the caption. "Looking back at my responsibilities ✌," she wrote.
The Victoria's Secret Angel is no stranger to a bikini shoot — but there was something about her latest photo that set it apart from all the rest. A picturesque background? Check. The perfect summertime hairstyle? She nailed that, too, with a messy braid that's ideal for every type of outing. But the scene-stealing detail is, without a doubt, her glittery gold two-piece that sparkled from every angle.
Hunt's swimsuit hails from Italian swimwear brand Oséree, a name that's derived from the French verb ‘oser,’ meaning ‘to dare.’ Just like its name suggests, then, the label boasts suits that are daring, but in the chicest way possible. Think: Statement shapes, bold color ways, and exceptionally-unique detailing, many of which define the model's luxe metallic bikini.
The Victoria Secret Angel's exact two-piece consists of a triangular top with dainty ties and high-waisted bottoms, both of which are handmade in Italy from a quick-drying fabric. Better yet, the set rings in at a reasonable $193.
Hunt's swimsuit is ushering in a new type of swimwear trends that's all about metallics. And while shiny silver and gold suits have been gaining serious ground this season, the model's take is slightly more understated and is, thus, perfect for the minimalist.
Ahead, The Zoe Report rounded up the chicest metallic suits on the market, including Hunt's exact Oséree find.
