Meghan Markle’s Beige Scarf Is The $68 Basic Your Closet Is Missing
While the fashion community gathers in Paris for the fourth week of fashion month, the Duchess of Sussex has spent the past few days making style statements of her own on a royal tour of Morocco. Unsurprisingly, the duchess' lineup has included the perfect curation of high-end and affordable staples — many of which are still in stock. The one item you'll want to scoop up immediately, though, is Meghan Markle's beige scarf from Aritzia.
Markle and Prince Harry spent Feb. 25 wrapping up their official tour of Morocco. As usual, the couple had a packed itinerary on their three-day trip, which included a visit to the Moroccan Royal Federation of Equestrian Sports, a tour of the Andalusian Gardens in Rabat, and an evening reception hosted by the British ambassador.
While a handful of her looks leaned more toward the formal side, Markle's outfit from day two of the visit sparked attention in its own way. The casual ensemble consisted of form-fitting black pants, a black top, and a cobalt blue blazer by Alice & Olivia. Markle accessorized with a pair of practical black flats, and a cozy wool scarf purchased from Canadian-based retailer, Aritzia. Although there are lots of colorways available online (including a rich maroon and an icy blue) the Duchess opted for a gray-and-taupe version.
She may be royalty, but that rarely holds Markle back from incorporating budget-friendly pieces into her everyday outfits. In fact, she's been known to shop at Aritzia, ASOS, Mango, and J.Crew regularly.
Markle's scarf is marked at under $100, making it one of the simplest and most affordable ways to emulate her royal style. Transition into the spring season in the coziest way possible by pairing the scarf with jeans, a t-shirt, a colored blazer, and your favorite flats. Or, if you're still looking to add to your cold-weather lineup, pair Markle's scarf on top of a chunky knit, a fleece-lined coat, or a faux-fur trench.
