Meghan Markle Made A Surprise Appearance With Archie In The Most Casual T-Shirt Dress
After a lengthy hiatus from the spotlight, your favorite royal fashion muse seems to be making a comeback. The duchess made a surprise appearance at Prince Harry's polo match on Weds. with baby Archie in tow. The olive-green midi Meghan Markle opted for was a chic version of your go-to summer t-shirt dress (and it's still in stock, but probably not for long).
Now that she's had a couple months of alone time with her new family of three, this royal's outings are becoming more frequent. Just days after Archie's christening, Markle took the baby out for a rare jaunt at Billingbear Polo Club in Wokingham, where Prince Harry was participating in The King Power Royal Charity Polo Day.
The new mom cradled her little prince-to-be (well, maybe) while the Cambridge children played around her. Kate Middleton was there, too, in her favorite summer outfit, consisting of a floral dress and espadrilles.
Comfort, however, was the theme of Markle's outfit. The duchess dressed in a khaki short-sleeved midi by swimsuit guru Lisa Marie Fernandez. The V-neck dress is made of lightweight, summer-ready linen and comes with a wide tie belt that the royal eschewed altogether, leaving it loose and flowy for her casual day out at the polo field.
A chicer version of the basic t-shirt dress that's probably already hanging in your closet, this dress style is a warm-weather staple for royals and commoners alike. It's super relaxed and airy, able to be dressed up with heels or left low-key with a pair of leather slides.
Markle's features leg slits on both sides and is designed in the earthy hue that both she and Middleton adore on their days off. The duchess' summer midi is still in stock but judging by how quickly her clothes have sold out in the past, you'd better act fast. The royal's dress and others like it, ahead.
