When it comes to hair accessories, headbands are about as much of a royal staple as fascinators and tiaras. Kate Middleton has been known to wear them constantly (she's an even bigger fan of the "hatband") and now another family member can't seem to leave the house without one. Princess Eugenie is obsessed with her leather headband and you will be, too.

On Thurs., Her Royal Highness was accompanied by her new husband, Jack Brooksbank, and father, Prince Andrew, during a visit to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where she underwent a major surgery as a child. There, the royal trio paid visits to several patients and met the resident robot, Pepper, who roams the children's ward.

The outing marked the couple's first official royal engagement together since their wedding in Oct., which isn't all that surprising, considering how infrequently Princess Eugenie goes out. On the rare occasion that she does make an appearance, though, she always wears something worth talking about.

This time, the royal dressed in a cream-colored tweed dress and black pumps. The Maje mini has long sleeves, a button-up front, and a babydoll silhouette. She accessorized with the most trend-forward Chloé bracelet bag and that leather headband she loves so much.

The sleek hair accessory is by Eugenia Kim and features a pretty little knot in the front. Princess Eugenie has worn it before — to church on Christmas Day with a festive red dress — which explains why it's sold out.

That outfit was actually a newsworthy moment for the 28-year-old. While the rest of the family sported hats and fascinators to church service, adhering to royal tradition, Princess Eugenie opted for a headband instead. But hey, you can't blame the girl for bending protocol in the name of fashion (Meghan Markle does it all the time).

If you're getting bored with your everyday hairstyle, then perhaps a leather headband like Princess Eugenie's is just the thing you need. Ahead, similar alternatives to help you achieve the look.
