On June 16, Chopra and Nick Jonas were photographed out and about in the Big Apple — and as per usual, their couple style was a home run. The Jonas Brothers singer opted for an all-black base, topping off his springtime outfit with a green trench coat and a pair of sunglasses.
Chopra looked the epitome of equestrian chic in her most recent off-duty ensemble, which consisted of a black button-down top, an oversized black blazer with sharp shoulders and shiny satin lapels, and last but certainly not least, high-waisted, pleated khaki shorts plucked straight from Diesel's Pre-Spring 2020 collection. You probably didn't know you needed to add a pair of the latter into your summertime collection — until now.
Though khaki shorts are oftentimes associated with tourist style, Chopra makes quite a convincing case for working them into your day-to-day looks, too. The secret to elevating the bottoms? Pair them with sophisticated staples, which, for Chopra, included tall, chunky boots, a sleek black belt, rectangular-shaped sunglasses, and an extra-large tote that's the complete opposite of the ultra-mini purses that have been cropping up on the runways this season.
