Priyanka Chopra Is A Ruffled Dream In Paris

Priyanka Chopra was nailing summer vacation style long before it was, well, officially summer. Back in March, she jet set to Miami for some much-needed fun in the sun with her closest friends and family, dishing out one show-shopping OOO (out of office) getup after another. Now, the actor is back on vacation in Paris — and she's brought her A+ off-duty style with her yet again. Case in point: Chopra's ruffled dress, a frock that is, without a doubt, the stuff of Parisian (and summer) dreams. Chopra and Nick Jonas touched down in Paris over the weekend — and there's an exciting reason behind this particular trip. According to People, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are gearing up for their second wedding ceremony, set to take place in France sometime this week and, as such, friends and family are starting to descend upon the City of Lights for the upcoming celebrations.

In the days leading up ceremony, Chopra, Turner, and Nick and Joe Jonas have been taking in all the Parisian city has to offer, most recently stepping out for a private boat cruise on the Seine River. The bride-to-be kept it fairly low-key in a white tee and black jeans combo, while Chopra opted for a floor-grazing, orange patterned maxi dress with a deep V-neckline, a wrap-like silhouette, and bold ruffle detailing along the front, hem, and sleeves.

Chopra's maxi dress hails from Markarian, a brand that designs romantic dresses with the modern, New York City it-girl in mind. All of the label's pieces — which can best be described as playful yet dramatic — are designed to appeal "to women who are looking for something well-made and classic while still having that playful edge," founder Alexandra O’Neill shared with The Zoe Report in 2018. Chopra's dress is a great example of the brand's design ethos.

The actor rounded out her vacation look with a handful of neutral accessories, including block heeled mules, a small bucket bag with a chain strap, and a pair of rectangular tortoiseshell sunglasses. Gold hoop earrings and a lariat necklace add the perfect amount of shine.
