Reese Witherspoon Just Wore The Under-$100 Basic Your Closet Needs Immediately
Reese Witherspoon is the epitome of class, femininity, and everything that's bright and sunshiny. Over the years, this Sweet Home Alabama actor has gotten pretty good at channeling her optimistic attitude into a colorful wardrobe, too. Reese Witherspoon's latest outfit included a pink sweater that was as bubbly as the Southern belle herself.
It isn't too often that the mom of three strays from her own clothing line, but Witherspoon took a rare break from Draper James for the sake of a cozy Everlane sweater on Thurs. She and son Tennessee seemed to be having a happy outing at Brentwood Country Mart, one of Jennifer Garner's favorite spots.
Witherspoon has a way of making cozy look effortlessly chic, this time wearing a long, gold chain-link necklace over a slouchy pink knit, a pair of straight-leg Levi's with frayed hems, and Gola for J.Crew metallic-striped sneakers.
She slung a camel leather tote (one of her own designs because she just couldn't resist) over her shoulder and sported her tortoiseshell-rimmed glasses to complete the comfortable look.
The Whisky in a Teacup author's ribbed alpaca sweater — which is less than $100 at Everlane — is designed for a slouchy, oversized fit perfect for pairing with Witherspoon's weekend jeans. It comes in six colors but the pink suited her signature style perfectly (and it's a no-brainer for spring).
If you tried to describe Witherspoon's look, you might call it colorful and cozy with a touch of prep thrown in. This, after all, is the overall motif of Draper James, which you'll see the Academy Award winner constantly modeling on her Instagram.
Bright colors, comfortable fabrics, classic silhouettes, and pretty florals all fall under Witherspoon's expertise. She can spot a wardrobe staple from a mile away and this time, she set her sights on a cotton candy-colored alpaca sweater.
With that price tag, you can set your sights on it, too. Witherspoon's sweater and similar alternatives, ahead.
