This SJP-Approved Coat Is 30 Percent Off At Bloomingdale’s Right Now
Sarah Jessica Parker has assembled quite an impressive (and well-rounded) outerwear collection over the years — one that's chock-full of plush, faux-fur jackets, refined, double-breasted topcoats, and warm, wool blazers. There's one style in particular that the actor has played favorites with throughout Jan. — and you're going to like its price tag. Sarah Jessica Parker's beige, longline coat is seriously on sale at Bloomingdale’s right now, and it's bound to become your new pair-with-everything piece this season.
It appears as though Parker is kicking off 2019 with a new go-to jacket on hand. It's only the second week of Jan., and she's already worn the same outerwear style — a beige, longline coat with double-breasted button closures and wide-notched lapels — a handful of times.
On Jan. 6, SJP wore the cozy, wool-blend staple to dress up a more casual-leaning travel look, which consisted of gray, oversized sweatpants, a loose-fitting shirt, and a pair of gray, high-heeled ankle booties. While her beige coat, which hails from French-based brand, Gerard Darel, infused her comfy airport outfit with just the right amount of sophistication, it was a practical styling decision, too. Considering airplanes can get super chilly, the oversized topper perfectly doubles as a blanket.
A few days prior, Parker was photographed wearing the same beige, longline coat while heading out to dinner in West Hollywood. That time, though, she teamed the outerwear essential with gray-washed jeans, a relaxed-fitting t-shirt, and gray slouch booties — the second time this month she's donned head-to-toe gray.
While there's truly so much to appreciate about Parker's favorite coat — the relaxed silhouette and the warm wool fabric, for example — its beige color is what makes it the ultimate outerwear win. Just like its dark-hued cousins black and brown, a beige jack is incredibly versatile.
Ahead, shop Parker's go-to coat (while it's still on sale), as well as The Zoe Report's roundup of beige toppers, all of which are inspired by SJP herself.
