It's no secret that Sofia Richie is a sneaker fanatic, and she rarely (if ever) reaches for any other shoe as the grounding element of her look. Trainers have quickly become the model's signature look, so it should come as no surprise that she typically tends to get her hands on the latest and greatest styles before anyone else. Case in point: Sofia Richie's white sneakers — a minimalist pair that hails from an up-and-coming brand you'll want to put on your radar ASAP.

On Tues., the 20 year old was spotted leaving the CIE Salon in Malibu, after presumably getting her blonde locks freshened up. For the chill, relaxing day, Richie called on three easy wardrobe staples for a laid-back look. The model's copy-worthy getup consisted of loose-fitting Alexander Wang army trousers (complete with utilitarian-inspired elements like exposed hardware and exaggerated pockets) and a tucked-in black sweater.

The tapered cuffs on Richie's pants perfectly exposed arguably the coolest piece in her outfit: optic white leather sneakers from Crosty, an under-the-radar line based in the country of Georgia. Not only are Crosty sneakers incredibly sleek, but each (handmaid) pair comes with a powerful message: the Georgian word for freedom is inscribed along the toe "as a declaration of the brand's ethos."

Richie joins a smaller crop of celebrities who have been spotted in Crosty's cool, minimalist sneakers. Model Coco Rocha and actress Camilla Belle are two bigger names who have also slipped into the chic leather trainers, but that list is certain to grow in the coming weeks — and fast — as more stars catch wind of the brand's sharp designs.

Considering the massive amount of street-style inspired sneakers on the market right now, finding a unique pair is no easy feat. That's what makes Crosty sneakers so cool — although each pair offers a subtle nod to of-the-moment trends, like comfy, platform soles and color blocking, the silhouettes are inherently fresh. Translation: If you're looking for an alternative to your go-to Adidas or Converse, gravitate towards Crosty.
