Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas Got Married (Again) In France, & The Ceremony Was As Romantic As It Gets

They did it ... again! Yes, after their May 1 nuptials in Las Vegas, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got married all over again in the most romantic French ceremony, ever. And considering the week-long build-up of pre-wedding festivities (and flawless ensembles), it's not surprising the big day would be the ultimate stylish, A-list affair.

For the past week, it seems the world has been avidly following every move the couple has made in the city of lights, as well as that of their chic wedding party (it must be said that Priyanka Chopra's Parisian style has been something to behold). The star-studded festivities officially kicked off at the pair's rehearsal dinner, which included Chopra, Ashley Graham, and Turner's BFF, Game of Thrones co-star, and maid of honor Maisie Williams. (The couple du jour demonstrated their commitment via matching red ensembles.)

After much anticipation, the day of reckoning has finally come, and (from what has been gathered thus far) the looks did not disappoint. According to Us Weekly, the bride herself strolled down the aisle in a Louis Vuitton gown (official images of Turner's dress have yet to be released, but it's safe to expect pure perfection from the GOT star.) Sister-in-law Chopra wore a lacy blush dress with a separate shawl that hung beautifully on her shoulders. Jonas and his groomsmen (which included his brothers Nick and Kevin), wore classic black suits, with Joe going for a black-on-black approach.

The ceremony itself was held at Martinet Castle in Carpentras, which is in southeastern France. The manor is about as regal and romantic as it gets with surrounding greenery and forest-like scenery that gives it a private, tucked-away feel. The couple, who first went public in 2017, clearly pulled out all the stops for their second ceremony — in fact, it's rumored that Turner is even changing her name to Sophie Belinda Jonas (Entertainment Tonight obtained a copy of the couple's marriage certificate).

For their first wedding, Turner and Jonas went more low-key and quirky, exchanging vows in Las Vegas just after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. In true Vegas fashion, the lovebirds had an Elvis impersonator officiate while country music duo Dan + Shay sang their hit Speechless. According to People, the couple's vows included, “I promise you, I will never leave you. I will love and trust you, all the days of my life. In sickness and in health… forever and ever.” Turner went for a sleek white jumpsuit and veil for her bridal look. Things seem to be a bit more sophisticated and elevated the second time around.
