STAUD Is Finally Launching Shoes — Here’s Exactly When You’ll Be Able To Shop Them
Let’s face it: STAUD, the chic and quirky fashion label beloved by editors and It girls alike, is the sartorial gift that keeps on giving. The cool-girl brand first made its way into the hearts of fashion lovers everywhere with its utterly stylish and cult-worthy handbags, and then the brand soon garnered attention for its ready-to-wear collections. Now, STAUD is about to release its debut shoe collection — and you already know it’s going to be good.
Looking at past launches from the New York-based brand, it seems as though STAUD can do no wrong. From its cool, vintage-inspired pieces that still feel modern and classic enough to wear everyday to its effortlessly chic accessories, the brand has mastered the art of polished style with an approachable (and attainable) touch. According to a press release from the brand, Sarah Staudinger, the brand’s co-creative director, approached footwear with the same mindset as she does with her bags. The result is a collection of shoes that feel practical enough to wear for everyday occasions without losing that It-girl essence.
After debuting at New York Fashion Week last fall during the brand’s Spring 2019 presentation, STAUD will release its first-ever shoe collection on Feb. 27, which ranges from $225 to $350 and features six different styles. With shoes including cool and comfortable slides to a strappy sandal Carrie Bradshaw would definitely approve of, you’ll be able to find the perfect spring shoe to complete any and all of your spring looks.
Get a vacation-ready look with the Rio, which is a chic flip flop sandal that comes in black, red, or nude, has a puffy tube strap, and costs $225. Or if you want to wear something more elevated, sport the Keith sandal, a slip-on heel that will be available for $295. The Keith is available with a croc-embossed texture in black, brown, or white, as well as a blue suede.
Another style that’s bound to be everywhere on your Instagram is the Billie mule, $275, which comes in a number of different styles and colors, including options with a clear strap. If you want a shoe you can wear to work as well as weekend brunch, the Gina croc-stamped slide will be just want you need and costs $350.
Just in case you have any spring weddings to attend, STAUD has you covered there, too. Sport the Astrid, a wedge sandal available in red and blue suede; the style was practically made with outdoor weddings in mind. If you want something that feels more dainty and timeless, you can’t go wrong with the Gita, a strappy sandal reminiscent of your favorite ‘90s icons.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the 27th, because there is no doubt that these shoes will be selling out fast.
