The Beauty Looks From The Golden Globes That Everyone Will Be Talking About All Week
The Americans may have won a trophy for Best Television Series, and Emily Blunt may have been nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, but one the categories that I would have liked to see are for Best Use Of Colorful Eyeliner. That one would have definitely gone to Lupita Nyong'o — and Taraji P. Henson would undoubtedly take home Best Blowout. The best 2019 Golden Globes beauty looks aren't just notable because it's the Golden Globes. This ceremony is one of the first of the year, and it sets the precedent for every other awards season look to come. Plus, looks at shows like the Grammys are known for veering a bit more modern. At the Globes, you get the classic Hollywood glamour that the red carpet is known for — plus a little something extra.
Indeed, Lady Gaga made heads turn with her unexpected blue dye job, which started off as an electric blue and faded by the time she made her red carpet appearance. And surprise of the night goes to Irina Shayk, who debuted a sharp lob... a smart move, since all eyes were on the carpet. Another honorable mention goes to Black Panther star Lupita Nyong'o, who went the completely opposite of matchy-matchy with her bright blue lashes and red lip.

Thandie Newton
Hairstylist Nai'vasha Johnson used DevaCurl products to achieve Newton's center-parted disco diva waves. Newton is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture for her role as Maeve in Westworld.
Lady Gaga
A Star Is Born's Lady Gaga dyed her hair powder blue to match her Valentino couture dress, which reminiscent of the retro-inspired looks that models at Marc Jacobs SS19 wore. She took home the award for Best Original Song for her work on "Shallow."
Lucy Boynton
Lucy Boynton's wavy blonde bob was styled with Suave products, according to hairstylist Jenny Cho's Instagram.
Sofia Carson
The juxtaposition of Sofia Carson's dark hair and rich crimson lip is the stuff of red carpet legends.
Lupita Nyong'o
Not that anyone needs another reason to stare at the Black Panther star... but if you look closely, you'll notice that she's wearing blue lashes from Lashify in the same hue as her Calvin Klein gown.
Emily Blunt
Of course, Blunt always looks beautiful from the front... but the real party is in the back, where her updo is fastened with a gorgeous jeweled barrette.
Indya Moore
Moore, who stars in Pose, looked so pretty with her natural, defined curls.
