After a whirlwind of an awards season this past winter, now is about the time when people start getting those inevitable red carpet withdrawals. Good thing the Billboard Music Awards arrived just in time to give the people their fix. If you happened to miss the big night, here's a roundup of the best Billboard Music Awards dresses of 2019 to hold you over until next time.

Weds. turned out to be a momentous night for several attendees: Drake broke a record for winning the most gold microphones and, as for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, they held their own little afterparty in the form of a surprise wedding ceremony (no, really).

But before any of that happened, guests filed into the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for their rehearsed red-carpet routine. The Jonas Brothers, who later took the stage as performers, all arrived with their famously fashionable partners while Ciara brought her 4-year-old son.

A shocking number of attendees opted for gold and silver as if metallics were part of the dress code. Others like Taylor Swift and Chrissy Metz celebrated the start of spring with bright color. The Zoe Report's favorite looks of the night, ahead.

If you're familiar with Chopra's style, you should know by now that the actor loves an all-white look almost as much as she loves sparkle. Her sweeping sequin gown by Zuhair Murad was a combination of both.

Olivia Wilde

A prime example of the evening's biggest trend, Wilde wore gold from head to toe. Her glittery, floor-length shirtdress by Ralph Lauren was made even bolder with a pair of matching platform heels.

You can always rely on Turner to bring the couture on any red carpet. This time, she ditched the dress tradition like the rule-bender she is and opted instead for a super-futuristic Louis Vuitton jumpsuit with a vibrant floral design.

Taylor Swift

Swift made it clear that she's ready for spring in this ruffly lilac mini. Her Raisa & Vanessa dress was one of the most colorful on Weds.'s red carpet.

Ciara

While the majority sported trend-forward metallics and pastels, Ciara went with a timeless look. Her slit-laden Stéphane Rolland gown featured a deep, mesh-adorned V-neck, an oversized bow on one shoulder, and a sparkly collar neckline.

Julianne Hough

Hough was responsible for one of the bolder looks of the night, consisting of metallic separates similar to the bikini you just bought layered under a sleek embellished blazer of the same champagne color, all designed by Genny.

Chrissy Metz

Metz must have gotten the message to wear sparkles on Weds. night. The This Is Us actor has been living in reds and maroons lately and her Billboards look was in the same camp. Her Tadashi Shoji gown incorporated jacquard, black lace, and plenty of sequins.

Eva Longoria

Longoria arrived to the awards ceremony in your average LBD made red-carpet ready with a pleated bodice and high-low hem. She wore her Alberta Ferretti number with transparent heels and a slicked-back ponytail.

Jennifer Hudson

This Billboard Music Awards veteran loves a power suit. The beige Area separates she sported this time featured super-long metallic fringe and matching silver heels.

Sofia Carson

This Pretty Little Liars actor flaunted her all-over ruffles without reservation. Her off-the-shoulder Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown was a pretty shade of lavender similar to Swift's.
