These Model-Approved Boots Are A Comfortable (& Stylish) Find For Festival Season
Coachella might be over, but festival season is just heating up. From Stagecoach in Palm Springs to Governors Ball in New York City, there are so many music-filled events to choose from. And as every concert-goer knows well, securing the perfect, comfortable shoes ahead of any music festival is crucial (especially if you're looking to run from set to set sans foot pain).
When getting ready for a three-day festival getaway, it’s best to pack light when it comes to shoes. The best shoes are the ones you can style differently each day without complaining about blisters. Victoria's Secret model Shanina Shaik knows this well, seeing that she brought one pair of sturdy boots to both weekends of Coachella.
Shaik's favorite pair of ankle boots are from Swedish brand Vagabond Shoemakers. Not only are they totally affordable, but their minimalist style means they'll go with just about everything your closet. With a square toe and low, chunky heel, they're perfect for long days spent on your feet.
Shaik first wore the boots at the Revolve welcome party before Weekend 1 on April 12 in Indio, California. The model danced the night away with the other influencers, bloggers, and editors attending Coachella with the retailer. The very next day, Shaik reached for the boots again, this time pairing them with distressed, high-waisted shorts and an orange bodysuit. The rest of her look was minimalist and simple — Shaik went for a beaded black choker, layered silver necklaces, and a black purse.
She later paired the boots with a sheer black-and-white dress by For Love & Lemons on the second day of Weekend 2. The daring outfit allowed Shaik to get away with otherwise simple accessories — a single pair of shimmery earrings and skinny black sunglasses. Her beauty look was just as ideal for the scorching temperatures as her outfit was: Shaik's long brown hair was styled in its natural texture, and her makeup was so neutral it was nearly undetectable.
