Two Of Beyonce's Favorite Designers Debuted A Shoe Collab At Fashion Week — & You Can Shop It Now

When two designers that have both been worn by Beyoncé miraculously come together for a collection, you take note — which is exactly what you should do now that luxury footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti (known for his statement stilettos and A-list clientele) has teamed up with one of the buzziest young designers right now. Though newer on the scene than Zanotti, Cowan has established a strong celebrity following (he's already made a name for himself as favorite designer of Beyonce), and now he's come together with Zanotti for an iconic new shoe collection.

The Giuseppe for Christian Cowan capsule made its debut during New York Fashion Week at the Christian Cowan Spring/Summer 2019 runway show, and you can already shop the "see now-buy now" styles you couldn't stop watching during Fashion Week. Cowan, a 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist (whose designs were on Lady Gaga before he even graduated school), seems like the perfect match to work with Zanotti, a designer who knows how to make a shoe with major star power.

Zanotti, who said in an interview with The Daily Front Row that he has worked with Beyoncé since the days of Destiny's Child, produced and provided his expertise for the capsule with Cowan.

''Working with Giuseppe Zanotti has been a dream. Not only does he have the true creative flare of an artist, but he is also incredibly kind and so supportive of our combined vision," said Cowan in press release from the brand. "As a young designer, the opportunity to be able to partner with Giuseppe has been invaluable, his advice and vision have been so helpful and I couldn’t be happier with what we have created together."

The capsule collections melds together the design aesthetic of Cowan (known for his use of sequins, feathers, and vinyl) with the history of Zanotti's glamorous silhouettes, striking a balance that lead to the creation of these standout shoes.

"The opportunity to look back at signature Giuseppe silhouettes and add my own spin on these was one I’ll always treasure," said Cowan in a press release. "Our maximalist styles married together have created a line of shoes that will be sure to keep you watching."

The final result includes two styles that deserve their own display case. The first pairs to be released from the collection (after walking the runway on Sept. 8), are available now for $1,995 each. Coming in gold and black, the sculptural leather sandals have a show-stopping gold plated metal "watch" buckle and a sculpted heel. The rest of the styles from the collection will be available in February 2019, as well as the addition of a men’s and women’s sneaker style.

The two designers share more than one motto, one of which is "Make women feel amazing." After seeing the first bold style that was released, there's no doubt the collab will do just that.
