Taryn Brooke

Taryn Brooke is a New York City-based beauty writer with over 10 years of experience in digital media. Taryn began writing for Bustle in 2015 as a sex, dating, and relationships writer but in the years since, has moved over to the beauty and wellness side. As a beauty writer, she is always ready to try the newest and buzziest treatments and isn’t afraid to endure a little pain (we’re talking needles here) in the name of beauty journalism.

Beyond Bustle, Taryn is currently a contributing beauty writer for Allure, Byrdie, Well+Good, POPSUGAR, and Coveteur, with her byline also having appeared in publications including Maxim, Thrillist, and Elite Daily. Taryn received her BA in Communications and Political Science from Queens College and her Masters in Education from Touro College.

In addition to her writing, Taryn also directs, produces, and writes short films that have appeared at numerous film festivals across the country.
