Inside Rachel Zoe’s Cozy Beverly Hills Living Room

by Shannon Nash

The best part about Rachel’s new Beverly Hills home is that every room has a totally different vibe, ranging from the super-posh modern living room to the beyond cozy wood-paneled den. With the arrival of fall and the chilly weather that accompanies it, we asked RZ for some nesting advice on how to create a space that feels both chic and comfortable. Here, her tips for making the most important room in the house—the one where you snuggle up and read books—look inviting and glamorous.

1. Create an inviting space with ample seating layered with cozy blankets and throw pillows.

"To warm up a room, colorful Missoni throw pillows and Hermès cashmere blankets are my go-to. Also, I always place sheepskin runners on the floor in my bedroom, but they also work layered on the sofa to add texture and coziness in the den." Photos: Dylan Bartolini-Volk

2. Make your coffee table the center of the party.

"Investing in a giant coffee table is totally worth the splurge. I fill mine with fashion and art books, serving trays with drinks, dishes with snacks, toys for the kids and of course, gorgeous flowers." Flowers: Eric Buterbaugh

3. Add pops of color with personal photos, travel trinkets and vintage collections.

"I collect everything from vintage Pucci porcelain to Visionaire figurines to Fornasetti anything! I use these personal treasures—as well as vacation photos—to add character and color to bookshelves and mantles." Flowers: BloomThat

4. Create a space your friends and family will want to hang out in.

"My parents always show up with the most amazing little cars and airplanes for the kids when they come to visit. The collection is in the den—so obviously it's Kaius' favorite room in the house."
