The Best Recipes From Goop’s Annual Detox

by Erin Bunch

One look at Goop’s annual detox has us realizing why it is that Gwyneth is able to cleanse as often as she does—her version looks nothing like our sad, juice-soaked regimens. Instead, it’s rich in hearty dishes that are filling, healthful and actually tasty. Here, five of our favorite recipes from the program, none of which resemble the depressing salads you’re probably picturing and all of which are quick and easy to make. We might even “detox” with these year-round—thanks, GP!

Kitchen Sink Thai Fried Rice

We are all about detoxing via one of our favorite comfort foods. (Just don't judge us if we use this recipe to nurse future hangovers instead.)

Miso Sweet Potatoes

We're constantly looking for healthy snack ideas that will actually satisfy our hunger, and what's more filling than a potato? Plus, these are so easy even the most inexperienced of chefs should be able to whip up a batch.

Chicken and Cabbage Dim Sum

As Dim Sum fanatics, we are obsessed with the Gwyneth-devised hack for making the decadent meal more healthful by using cabbage as the wrap instead of dough. We also love the Goop team's suggestion of serving these treats on cauliflower rice.

Detox Granola Bars

Another easy and uber-healthy snack to pack for work, you can mix these up depending on your nut preferences.

Turkey & Sweet Potato Chili

This looks so good right now we'd swim in it if we could. It's another one that's incredibly easy to make, and it'll freeze nicely for future servings.
