Kitsch Just Dropped Its Third Collab With Justine Marjan & It’s Not At All What You’re Expecting
Minimalist chunky jewelry has been having a moment in 2019, along with hair accessories of basically every kind. So, of course, when you put the two together you get a match made in Instagram heaven — meaning fashion girls everywhere will be happy to know that the Kitsch x Justine Marjan Launch 3 collection has done just that. The drop, which hit mykitsch.com on Oct. 17, has expanded from its past offerings and now includes pieces like headbands, scrunchies, and more, many of which are adorned with chains that bring to mind the trend that's been taking over accessory collections as of late.
And while some of the new pieces — like the $49 Patent Knotted Headband With Chain — are undeniable statement makers, others feature details that are delicate enough to fit right in with the minimalist chunky jewelry trend you're seeing everywhere. Those who like to keep things simple will love styling the black Patent Scrunchie With Chain ($29) with a groutfit to upgrade lazy-day looks. Or, for even less of a statement (but still a statement, nonetheless), opt for the Chain & Bow Bobby Pin 8-Piece Set for $49 and just use the gold pieces to elevate your everyday hairstyle with a chicer take on bobby pins.
It probably comes as no surprise, though, that Kitsch's latest collaboration with Marjan hits on some of this season's must-try trends. The celebrity hairstylist has been the genius behind many iconic hair accessory moments (like Ashley Graham's bow-covered bun at the 2019 Oscar Awards), and created two previous collections with Kitsch that are still flooding Instagram. Marjan clearly understands what the fashion- and beauty-obsessed crowd wants — and she's delivered yet again with this trend-focused collection that brings together her typical edginess with a feminine touch.
But though it's true to Marjan's style, this third launch also brings a totally new vibe from the first two. Yes, there's still a word bobby pin included (don't sleep on the rhinestone-laden "queen" accessory for your most over-the-top holiday looks), but this time, there are headbands and scrunchies, new materials like patent leather, and new colors outside of the usual all-silver selection.
It all comes together for yet another collab that's bound to be everywhere in no time — so keep scrolling to shop a few of TZR's favorite pieces before the rest of your hair-accessory obsessed friends.
